PLURALS
A plural is the form of a word that indicates that there is more than one of that word
For example: the plural of 'apple' is 'APPLES' which tells me that there are many apples
instead of just one.
Used in a sentence we get:
I have an apple.
Bob has many apples.
You'll notice that the only thing that changed in the noun apple was the letter 's' added to
the end of the word.
The plural form of most nouns is created by simply adding the letter 's' to a noun.
The general rule therefore for making most nouns plural is noun + s = plural!

When ever a word ends in -ch, x, s, or s-sounding letters the letters -es must be added
like so
